May has been interesting. I had surgery, and then just days later, I went to see a concert I’d bought tickets for many moons ago. I didn’t feel great. The lesson I took from this month is: don’t do this in the future! But this is my favorite band, and they only tour this country once every few years. Here’s a pic of Bring Me The Horizon’s stage setup. I wish I could have done more than sit down every few minutes and struggle not to pass out. Like I said… lesson learned.

Beyond that, I’ve been reading, writing, and building my May playlist on Spotify. I do this basically every month. I start a new one and add anything that becomes an earworm!

So you might ask, "What are you reading?" Well, besides my normal romance addiction, I’ve started Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl series with my husband. I love it; I seriously have a crush on this series. Please click my book recs below to check out the description and reviews.

Writing? Yeah, that’s happening. I was not in a great place when I first started At Any Cost, and the foundation is a bit of a hot mess. I’m currently reading through the first draft, rearranging, and rewriting. When it was beta read last year, the consensus was that “it was shittily written.” That hurt, but they weren’t wrong. I’m not going to publish it until it’s an Ali Lucia Sky quality story.
